Girlcrush (DK)
Girlcrush are queer feminists who play rattling and catchy pop punk. They got together around one shared vision: to change people’s notion of gender, body ideals and sexuality through their music.
Manila (DK)
This young pop quintet from Copenhagen describe themselves as a mixture of bounce, art and catchy melodies. In other words – sophisticated pop music with 70’s disco influences in a playful and energetic combination. 2019 will see the release of the band’s second EP, which is due in October 2019 through We Are Suburban.
Rebecca Lou (DK)
In the course of the last year or so, the Danish moped rockers from Rebecca Lou have raced into the ears of the rock-craving music fans in Denmark. With songs like ‘B*tch U Look Good’ and the P6 BEAT darling ‘I Wanna Be Your Everything’, Rebecca Lou have given both the music business and the gender debate in Denmark a swift kick in the groin.
