Simon Skjødt Jensen is the man behind Own Road, whose music exists in the borderland of American folk music, singer/songwriter and psychedelia. With beautiful vocals, guitars, percussion, and challenging instrumentation, the compositions move effortlessly through angst, melodious beauty and echoes from another world. The music is at once archaic, familiar, and very modern.
