Koblingen af musik og film er en vigtig indtægtskilde for musikbranchen, og derfor tages muligheder, problemstillinger og fremtidsperspektiver indenfor sync op her over en række sessions med fokus på det australske marked, gode råd til hvordan du lander en sync, storytelling indenfor sync og en debat om bedre kommunikation mellem de forskellige parter indenfor musik, film, TV og reklame. Det hele afsluttes med en åben pitch-session overfor et panel af danske og internationale music supervisorer.

How To Sync Down Under

Leading Australian Music Supervisor, Karl Richter, will layout a commercial and creative roadmap of which music works best Down Under and what it is worth in any given sync scenario! He’ll also take an in-depth look at the weird and wonderful scope of what’s playing on TV commercials in Australia right now, and what you can do to give yourself the best chance of getting some advertising placements for your music in Australia. For the second half of the talk Karl will provide an overview of DISCO, the sync pitching tool that was born out of 15 years of his company Level Two Music, music supervision workflow.

While working as a music supervisor Karl founded DISCO, a music file sharing and workflow platform built specifically for the music industry.

Yebo is also a working musician, songwriter and producer. A jack of many trades celebrating his 25th anniversary in this crazy business we call show.

Owner of Friendly Fire Licensing, Los Angeles
Dan Koplowitz has been involved with the music industry in one way or another for the past twenty years. He owns the boutique sync agency Friendly Fire Licensing, which represents about forty labels and publishers (including Crunchy Frog, GL Music, Cosmos, Playground, and lots more) for inclusion in TV shows, movies, commercials, and video games. Dan manages a number of bands and focuses primarily on working with international acts in the USA.

Charlotte von Kotze

Director of Music at VICE, New York
Charlotte von Kotze is Director of Music at VICE. She handles music supervision for VICE Plus Production creative works, as well as the licensing needs of VIRTUE, an internal VICE MEDIA commercial agency. Recent notable clients include Marc Jacobs, MAC, Nike, Lululemon, Bose, Airbnb, or Delta. Other projects she previously music supervised include A24 x HBO’s critically acclaimed TV show ’Random Acts of Flyness’ directed by Terence Nance (2018).

Nis founded 'Copenhagen Film Music' a 360 Music supervision company for Film & TV. Nis has worked on more than 150 commercials, TV series and films. He’s been sharing knowledge at A&R Worldwide, Midem Cannes, Sync Summit Paris, Les Arcs European Film Festival, and Artist mentor for Music Estland VOLÜÜM mentoring program, to mention a few. Lately Nis has been working on the Danish TV drama 'Follow the Money' (Bedrag).

Award winning music stylist Jesper Gadeberg, who is Copenhagen based, is working as a music supervisor in advertising & prefers to be where the good creative ideas are being developed. Having worked for directors such as Michel Gondry ’ Martin Werner, TRAKTOR & Martin De Thurah and many others. He has won for ’best use of music’ for his ideas at various advertising festivals, and also judging at various advertising festivals.

Ben Sumner

Forunder of Feel For Music, London
Ben Sumner is a music supervisor specializing in the field of video games. Twice voted Music Week Music Supervisor of the Year for Video Games and winner of awards for music creation and supervision across gaming, advertising and radio. Ben has worked on music for numerous games franchises including Assassins Creed, Just Cause, Tomb Raider, Hitman, to name just a few. As well as numerous other projects including work for Google, Jaguar and BBC.

Ilana Goldstoff

Ilana Goldstoff is Sync Manager at Sizzer Amsterdam. Before joining the company in 2015 she was active in the music industry for 12 years as a booker, talent scout and manager. Ilana is responsible for the award-winning ’When You Drive, Never Drink’ Heineken campaign, as well as syncs for Diesel, Chanel, Audi and many others. Sizzer Amsterdam is one of the leading agencies in the world of music for images.

Connie Edwards

Music Supervisor at Major Tom, London
Connie has been supervising music for commercials with Major Tom for the past 5 years. Her work at Major Tom consists of full music services, encompassing music supervision, licensing, soundtrack composition and score supervision, all undertaken with an uncompromisingly creative perspective, an obsession for originality and striving for the highest production values. Recent credits include worldwide campaigns for Stella Artois and Range Rover.

Terese keeps an eye out for interesting producers, artists, and composers as well as help build and maintain relations with European clientel and creatives.
