IDA KUDO

Ja Ja Ja

IDA KUDO’s latest EP, ‘GOLD’, from November 23 was a game-changer for the talented Danish-Japanese artist. Clash Magazine described her fusion of Asian mythology and cool Scandinavian style as: “dazzlingly original”. Strong beats keep the productions pop-solid, as Asian-inspired melodies, hooks and vocals surface, creating contrasts of tribal, beat-driven pop,  and pop-noir – a unique blend which is entirely her own.

Presented by Ja Ja Ja.

2019 marks 10 years since the launch of Ja Ja Ja Music in London, and 5 years since the Nordic music club night launched its Berlin edition in 2014.

Since then, more than 250 new Nordic artists have performed at Ja Ja Ja’s club nights and festivals, with over 100 shows taking place in London, Berlin, Brighton, Hamburg, Vienna, Tokyo, Salzburg, Graz and Budapest. The likes of MØ, Aurora, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Silvana Imam and Vök have risen through Ja Ja Ja’s ranks to achieve widespread success, making the platform the premier destination for industry and public alike to discover the best emerging Nordic music.

Ja Ja Ja will be hosting a series of special events in the UK, Germany and beyond to highlight these landmark anniversaries, and we’re excited to be attending SPOT Festival to get these celebrations underway!
