I Think You’re Awesome & Aarhus Jazz Orchestra

African rhythms, Nordic folk, European improvisation and American songwriting traditions are but a few of the ingredients for the experimental indie jazz band I Think You’re Awesome. Now their 10th anniversary is approaching, and they are going to celebrate that at SPOT with a joint concert with Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, for which bass player and composer Jens Mikkel Madsen’s compositions will be rearranged for the many musicians on the stage. The arrangements for the concert are made by composer Signe Bisgaard in artistic collaboration with Jens Mikkel Madsen.
