SPOT is proud to announce a host of new acts signed for the 25th SPOT festival.
Among the new additions are: Goss – aka Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen from the internationally renowned Reptile Youth. Goss is a sort of sci-fi-R&B adventure, with Mads as the ever energetic, expressive front man. Malte Ebert has created his own sound, and his impressive voice makes him a shooting star on the way up. Other additions are: Artifact Collective, Astrid Engberg, CLARA, Dark Times (NO), Ea Kaya, Goss, Kaaliyah, Korantemaa (SE), Malte Ebert and Saint by CarlloYaboy & Hans Zamroud.
Train – Try it the metal way
On Friday the 3rd of May, the Aarhus venue Train will be transformed into a palace of metal. The world of metal will be celebrated via full volume performances by various acts. One of these bands is Baest, a band formed back in 2015 that has proven to be ever-growing in popularity. Baest is now focusing on the international market via a heavy touring and a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. Get ready to be blown away when they enter the stage at Train and are joined by LLNN, Nyt Liv, Orm, and Xenobelight.
Roots&Hybrid
The Roots&Hybrid stage has got its own programme throughout the entire SPOT festival and is best described as a festival within a festival – focusing on roots music from different parts of the world, mixed with all kinds of new hybrids. The first acts announced from the line-up are 47 Soul (PS), Bremer/McCoy, Dengue Dengue Dengue (PE), Faratuben (DK/ML), Tuhaf (DK/TR) and YIN YIN (NL)
Other partners adding to the SPOT line-up are the record labels Part Time Records and Sherwood Records. The first acts in their line-up have now been revealed: J. Fen Happens, Modest, Tears, Tilebreaker, Visitor Kane and Yung.
