NAKED is a very special SPOT feature where you get the opportunity to experience the artists in completely stripped formats, only accompanied by the notes from a piano. Now the artists for this year’s Naked Sessions (Friday and Saturday) are ready: Danish popstar Christopher (Friday only)pop/ R’n’B singer Cisilia, Faroese ace vocalist Eivør, lead singer of The Entrepreneurs Mathias Bertelsen, and Tomas Høffding (Saturday only) from internationally acclaimed act Who Made WhoIn other words, it is a very versatile line-up – ready to be taken out of their usual settings to a place where new, unexpected and exciting moments can easily arise. The man behind the piano is Gustaf Ljunggren.

Another special event is a chamber opera, One world above, another below created by composer and musician Lil Lacy. Lil Lacy’s inspiration comes from the classical music tradition, the electronic universe, and travels to Japan, and includes electronic composer Tobias Sejersdahl, japanese conductor Rei Munakata, soprano singer Katinka Fogh Vindelev, and classical ensemble Århus Sinfonietta in the line-up. Make sure to be present in Symfonisk Sal (The Symphonic Hall) to witness a genuine fusion unfold in real time.

The last week has also seen another fine batch of new signings to the festival line-up. Among them Off Bloom, the Danish electro pop trio that already got noticed back in 2016 by BBC1 and Beats 1,   and since then have strengthened their reputation by supporting Duo Lipa and Alma in Europe and playing European festivals.
