Name: Hannah Edds

Company: X-ray Touring

Title: Agent assistant

Based in: London

Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster? Founded in 2005, X-ray Touring is a global music agency handling the live careers of over 400 artists. X-ray’s roster includes an array of internationally renowned acts such as Coldplay, Eminem, Queens of the Stone Age, Chance the Rapper, Gorillaz, Anderson.Paak, The Internet, Robbie Williams, Pixies, Snow Patrol, and many more.

– and a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment? Emotional Oranges – brilliant new band from LA, signed to Island. Black Honey – Brighton four piece who have built a loyal fanbase in both the UK and further afield, without the help of a label.
Mini Mansions – Zach Dawes of The Last Shadow Puppets, Tyler Parkford, and Michael Shuman of Queens of the Stone Age are about to release their third studio album.
Jenny Lewis – former Rilo Kiley singer just released her fourth solo album, On The Line.
Stranger Things – Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein performing the music of Stranger Things.
Better Oblivion Community Centre – Conor Oberst’s and Phoebe Bridgers’ new band.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music? When I was about 16 – me and my friends would put on gigs with bands from our school.

What are your favourite Danish acts? Agnes Obel (who X-ray also represents), MØ, Alphabeat …and I still have a lot of affection for Aqua!

Best show you’ve ever seen hands down? David Byrne’s American Utopia tour at the O2.
