Alternative rock, PRR&B, techno and much more
SPOT is happy to announce yet another a host of acts signed for this year’s festival. The Entrepreneurs (top picture) are joining SPOT playing their alternative rock, so is Mont Jake – only he is performing his special mix of 90’s hip-hop/R&B and 70’s classic soul. Get ready to enjoy Selma Judith, who will spoil you with her delicious PRR&B sound. Further additions: Elias Boussnina, Erika de Casier, Kwamie Liv, Nicklas Sahl, NODE, Søn, and Tomas Høffding.
Electronic music, techno and digital soundscapes
SPOT partner Strøm is Denmark’s organization for electronic music. This year during SPOT Strøm will be presenting both DJs and hip-hop acts. Some of the acts on the bill: Courtesy, Festaften, JONGPADAWAN, Natkat, Rune Bagge, Sofie Birch.
FEUM, an association of electronic underground music, are also adding to the line-up: Birds ov Paradise (SE), Hans Berg (SE), Mikael Tobias (CA/DK), ROSYAN and Sofus Forsberg.
The Royal Academy of Music
The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, is presenting a great range of acts. Acoustic folk, pop-folk, rock and grunge with a modern production are but some of the genres displayed during the SPOT days. Experience: Baby Did a Bad Thing, Chubby Hearts Club, GUNVA, Human, Jonas Hammer, Kr4n, Lotus Noir, Maisemat, MoonBee + The Astronauts, Natlyst, PROFESSOR PUS, Simone Tang, Valmai and ZAAR.
Swedish rock on Danish ground
Last but not least Westside Music Sweden, a platform of music companies from Sweden, is taking part in making SPOT a Nordic event. Adding to the SPOT line-up: Beverly Kills (SE), Terra (SE), The Bongo Club (SE). See the Full SPOT line-Up (so far) here.
